I received a letter from Sarah in the mail, summer of 2007…(At this, I can hear Sarah gasping…Don’t worry, Sarah dear, I am not going to quote the letter. The musings of a fifteen year old girl need not be shared with the world.) :)
Needless to say, this letter was my introduction to Chad. Sarah had met a boy at summer camp. She was smitten. He was two years older and she was shy and awkward. He pursued her with flowers, poems and gifts carved out of wood! They started dating that summer, staying true to the phenomenon that is summer love! Chad was living in Alberta and moved to Langley the next year “for work”, conveniently closing the gap between him and the girl he loved.
After four and a half years of being best friends and falling in love, these two wonderful people are marrying each other!
This is the second time I’ve got to photograph Sarah and Chad and I am excited for the third time on their wedding day!
Chad is a hunter. In their many years of marriage, I’m sure he will bring her home many an antler.
Hunting has prepared him well for his roll as a husband pursuing his wife. Haha!
