All I knew when I met Rosalind was that she lived in Toronto, and she was getting married to Will at the Vancouver Club on March 31st, 2012. After meeting both her and Will, I feel that I could use at least 50 glowing adjectives to describe this wonderfully sweet and elegant couple. From start to finish their wedding was stylish, organized (thanks to Roz, and BIG thanks to Alicia Keats Wedding and Event Planning) sophisticated, romantic, emotional, and FLAWLESS. And I was humbled to be witnessing and capturing such tastefully executed day.
Rosalind met Will on a dock in Naramata. Will and his friends were perusing the lake and “happened” upon three sisters – among which was Roz. At the time, Roz lived in Toronto and Will lived in Victoria, BC. Thankfully a wise relative gave Will tickets to a football game in……..you guessed it, Toronto! Will emailed Roz and they met up, and he subsequently ended up BACK in Toronto 5 or 6 times that year. :) It was evident to their friends and family that they were meant to be together. As the bride’s sister put it, “I knew Will was perfect for Roz the moment I saw his closet – perfectly folded and organized clothes.” Aside from their obvious passion for organization, Will and Roz also share a passion for friends, family, a good sense of humour and cribbage. Hallelujah that people still enjoy cribbage! I love that.
It was with happiness and tears that Roz said “I WILLLLLLL” to Will, amongst a host of friends from all around the world!
